I was super-pissed that they fucked this up Thursday night.

But here is the proper perspective: at the beginning of the season, no one expected them to do shit. They are weak at many, many critical positions.

They punched above their weight for a long time. And it was fun. But they cannot do that forever.

This is not a playoff quality team overall. We just need to go back to accepting that. They probably have some good games left in them. But they are not going far. Not this year. We let ourselves get duped again. We are the ones who fucked up. Not them.

I'm convinced, after back to back blowout's,the blueprint for future success is to convert Tyrod to running back and at the very least, give the backup qb a shot or come up with one who can get rid of the ball quickly and not dance around out of the pocket waiting for an opportunity to run,not to mention throwing an 8 yard pass on 3rd down when he needs 10 for a first! Then there is the question of what happened to the tenacious defense they started with?

I agree with Rooster. They decided early this is a rebuilding year after they got rid of Watkins. So we should be happy we’re not in the draft conversations with the 49’ers and the Browns. There’s 2 games they should win, against the Chargers & the Colts. After that if they split with the Dolfins & Pats they my get in. That would be fantastic for a rebuilding year.
I like this guy Simpson. Just gotta get the timing down. Although I agree that Tyrod isn’t gonna cut it it the long run.
