Not that it affects anyone here (I HOPE), but research in South Africa shows that cut men are less likely to pass HIV on to their partners, and less likely to take it home for themselves. But, in a grim sort of way, the guys that are doing that are idiots. IMHO.

Most anecdotal reports say that the foreskin keeps the penis more sensitive by protecting the head from friction when not engaged in sexual activity. Most studies don't show conclusive evidence one way or the other.
There have been theories that proposed that certain types of cells on the inside of the foreskin might contract HIV more easily than others, but that has been shown to be inconclusive in studies also.
