Is it fair to ask a Provider to show proof of age?

"Always" is a strong word. One of my top-5 all-timers was a studio gal I met when she was 19...had the skills of a porn star.

Having said that, I usually choose the 30-somethings now because they do tend to know a thing or two the young 'uns haven't learned yet. In any event, I try to stay away from anyone stating their age as being under 21 precisely for the reasons cited here.

Back to the OP...I don't think there is anything wrong with checking ID (covering up name and address as stated previously). My suggestion would be to tell her you'll want to see it when setting up the appointment so you're less likely to encounter one of the excuses mentioned in an earlier post. If she balks, move on.

LL is correct. If you pay for someone for sexual performance and they are under 18 is is a felony. Ignorance is not an excuse legally. Even if they show you ID after ID, if the DA can prove she is under 18, you can still be held liable even if you did due diligence. Of course, that is up to the prosecutor but do not expect to get a straight up "walk".

A couple of years ago there was a provider who was using a fake ID and advertising on another site. Another gent and I met her at a coffee shop to check her ID. It looked almost perfect, except one small flaw. The DL was issued by the Dept. of Public Services. She was removed from the site until she was of age.

Thanks to the Internet and various services, birth certificate data is available online in many cases. A very astute hobbyist was available to determine her real name and age and alerted the staff of many sites when she would be 18 and she was kept off the review boards until then. CL and Backpage were alerted but chose not to act upon the info.

If you happen to come across a gal who is less than 18 or have reason to believe she might be less than 18 and "in the game", please alert the staffs of the review boards. It helps keep us all safer.

I'm not sure how long that peak lasts, but mine hit at the age of 28 and it's given me no indication of slowing down in those five years. As far as checking ID's goes, I doubt that would be a very effective method of age verification unless you know what to look for in fake id's...there are some really good ones out there...

Their used to be a provider at studio 1 that had just turned 18, when i saw her, she told me she used to work at 333 bodyworks for 2 years before when she was 16. She said the place never asked her for an id, they just assumed she was 18. Remember the place on harry hines i think, they had 2 girls working their that were really young, and got busted. You don't ever know, my thinking behind it is if you she looks young and refuses to show her id walkaway and tell her sorry she's not worth the risk.

If the alternative is the penitentiary, does it really matter if it's "fair"? It's your money. Your session. And your ass if you go to the big house. If she doesn't think it's fair, she's certainly entitled to her opinion. But is she objected after you explained your position, I'd (politely, of course) tell her to hit the bricks.

When I first saw your title, I thought "That's easy. Don't ever ask any woman her age." Then after reading your post I understand why you're asking.

But, I still suggest you not rely on an ID. A while back I read an article about a guy who had sex with an underage girl who he had good reason (including a fake ID) to believe was over 18. He was still prosecuted.

I'm not sure about all the legal issues, but I would advise staying far away from any provider you even suspect may be underage.

Since it'd be your ass that'd end up in jail if she turns out to be underage (and unless you've been living out of the country your ass would get an awful lot of use by the other inmates!) if you think she's underage you'd be best off walking away because, as has been noted by other posters, if she looks too young she likely is. If the Provider gets upset that you think she looks young I'd be suspicious since most women I know prefer to be told "damn you look so young" to "damn you look so old!"

You might want to read this thread more carefully. The rules are different when you are paying for sex.

I once had this "freshly turned 18yr old" come to me for a date.
When he stepped inside he looked so young that it made me feel very weird. So I asked him if it was ok for me to see his ID. I told him to cover his name and address with a finger...
Lo and behold, he had turned 18 the day before..

To be honest I felt kinda gross every time I looked him in the face (he had a soft baby face), but thank goodness his package was "full grown"

I have also asked for proof of age due to how someone looks. I once asked a 25 year old because he looked so young...
