They had a better supporting cast back then. If you recall in the last quarter Shaq rarely touched the ball because teams would employ the hack a Shaq defense. Who would not give up one point and come down to score to two?

Shaq was also a genetic freak of nature and had a nice demeanor. Dwightmare wants to be the Man. Dwight gets pissed when he gets hacked rather than playing through the crap. He is going to want to demand the ball, and not just alley oops.

Nash will be trying to coach up Dwightmare ... while he is laying on the ground trying to stretch his back. Nash is an improvement as an offensive point guard but the next time he plays shut down defense will be his first. But also Nash of 2012 will not be the Nash of 2008.
