The republicans were successful because the public did not want what Obama was proposing. If Reid wants to act petulant he is free to do so. I actually believe that there are enough democrats that are willing to do what is right so that it will not matter. However, Romney will need popular support for his proposals so he will have to be salesman in chief also.
