I heard 13 was way too over-the-top dramatic, I'll pass. I've read a few Atwood novels and am not very impressed with her talents.

Now This is a good, and informative thread folks. Keep em comin'. We've seen almost everything mentioned, but have picked up a couple of new ones..
Handmaidens Tale is a bit depressing, but interesting.. the new Amazon "Playboy" is fun and informative as well.

Thanks for the mention of Rectify. Just finished all 4 seasons. Very good, though a bit close to home on some of the issues. Thanks again.

Can anyone recommend something dark like Dexter or any good documentaries? I love dark comedy, anything akin to Breaking Bad, mafia movies, true crime stuff. I'm kinda liking Game of Thrones too.

If you haven't seen Breaking Bad, you owe it to yourself to watch the greatest show in the history of television.

Amazon Prime has some awesome shows as well:
Sneaky Pete
Man in the High Castle
Bosch
Orphan Black

Hulu:
11/22/63 - Stephen King mini series about time travel to stop the Kennedy assassination
Shut Eye - magicians that are grifters, con men, etc...pretty entertaining
The Path - it's about cults, has Adrianne Paul and everyone raves about it...haven't watched it yet, though.

Flaked was good. Wonder if they are putting out a new season soon.

Stranger Things on Netflix rocks if you haven't seen it. Also Sense 8 is pretty damn good. Season 2 just released a couple of weeks ago.

Black Sails, and Harlot (both on HULU, with no commercials) are both and just enough "adult" content to keep it fun.

Bloodline is another good show on Netflix. Season 3 comes out next Friday.
