I know at this point it doesn't really matter but have you figured out roughly where it happened? Pellet guns typically have a limited range. Im just kind of hoping there is a marginal chance of an accident over malicious intentions.
Kid shooting cans and missed = double backhand.

They would not harm anyone, ever. Mine had never met an enemy. Please honor your friends personality by dealing with his loss in the same way.

Depending on how determined you feel, I'd recommend a reward as well for information leading to an arrest.

Chances are this perpetrator is a neighbor. If so, he's already seen as something odd at best most likely.

Shake the trees, see what falls out.

I've also had a couple of dogs I'd do most anything for. I understand your grief.

If it was me, I'd find the fucker or at least he'd know I was looking for him. Shit heads that do these type things are known for not keeping it to themselves. He'll say something to someone - find that someone or him and turn the fuckers life into a horror movie !

As a pet owner, I'd be devastated. Their average lifespans are so brief.....to have someone shorten it in this manner; makes no sense.

Humans can be so cruel...so thoughtless. A crime of this nature defies all logic and meaning. I hope the felon is found out and receives the harshest of penalties (Marsellus Wallace's plans for Zed, ie: "Pulp Fiction", comes to mind).

I could spit nails. That is so wrong. My guess is one of your neighbors did it. However, I would check with your neighbors to see if any of them heard or saw something unusual. I would also ask if any of them have cameras and to see if you can view the footage

If I find out who did this I will take them out to the middle of nowhere, shoot them thru their ass cheeks and slowly put them feet first thru a wood chipper.

Don't blame u at all. I would kill a fucker for that, lemme know if u need any help if you find out who did it. I specialize in dealing out pain and misery.
