Remember the pottery planters that are sculpted like a man and have a long cactus planted in just the right spot?
Well, a few years ago I was in a small Ohio art pottery store. The wife wasn't with me and there were no other customers in the shop. The lady that waited on me was unusually friendly and made several comments about the pottery planters she had with the cactus penis. At the time it seemed odd that she had so many of these and was a bit over the top discussing them. I wasn't in the hobby back then and was even more naive than I sometimes am now. Looking back at the encounter, she obviously had more in mind than just selling pottery! Another good opportunity missed! Next time I'm in Ohio I'm going to buy some cactus planters.
