IMO what your seeing a lot of are guys that never felt the ability to post due to the repressiveness of ASPD that are finally speaking up and your going to get a little venting......

Your also going to see some of the ladies fighting to kee-p some things in the dark they simply don't feel we have the right to discuss.....

With ECCIE's commitment to allowing everyone a voice things are just going to go through some growing pains.....

Welcome to Austin.... Unfortunately, more so than any other forums in Texas there is a lot bottled up here from teh last few years that will eventually make its way out....

My feelings as a provider are this:
Although this is my job, it's my passion as well. I LIKE what I do. And this year, on the dawn of my 24th birthday, I can say I have been more places, and done and seen more things than my civvie girlfriends my age. Why? Because I am a provider....

With that said, I never, ever forget what I am providing to someone who decides to see me. I understand, realize and whole-heartedly appreciate what all of my clients go through just to pay to spend time with me. So many men sacrifice their jobs, family, and social standing just to pay for a few hours of my time. Why in the world would I would I view hobbyists with contempt?

Unfortunately, there are a few women around here that tend to do just that..... Hopefully you and others like you will bring a much more welcome voice to the board.....

So why am I reading so may hurtful, accusatory and just down right mean things from many of the hobbyists on this forum? Why do you feel cheated? I appreciate you and I hope you appreciate me...

We'll leave the answers to those questions for other threads.... You strike me as intelligent enough to be able to read through the name calling, mud slinging and out and out crap and actually see the information that gets presented.

Maybe when you do you can explain it to some of the other ladies and guys that can't "get it"

I am a young, childless, single woman who travels the nation providing escort services. I'm barely 5'5 and weigh 110lbs soaking wet... I may talk a good game, but at the end of the day, I am tiny woman and if someone wanted to do harm to me, they very easily could. This fear is what I deal with on daily basis. Not mention my family and friends deserting me because I work in the adult industry... or getting in trouble with the law... or the crippling lonliness and isolation that comes along with living a secret life.

There is a statement that you just never see a lady bring out but has one hell of a lot of truth in it.

I'm sorry to be long winded, but my point is that hobbyists and providers are partners... NOT adversaries. Can we please stop demeaning each other? Hobbyists can you please stop telling us providers how much we are monetarily worth? Providers can you please stop bitching about guys who can't afford your rates(and, its high time to treat the ones who CAN pay your rates with with the ultimate respect)? Hell, we're really the only ones who understand each other. Now lets all sing "Kumbaya" and go fuck.

You assume that because I didn't look for a way to roast her? I interact in a lot of threads without taking any kind of stance on any subject.... A very thoughtful and truthful post.

I cringe at the language I see when fellas are referring to the ladies as well as when the ladies are referring to the gents. And this goes DOUBLE when in the Gents only or Ladies only forums. To hear females in the hobby referred to as whores, cunts, or other negative terms, and the males referred to Johns or tricks demeans ALL women and men. And when posted in private areas, it sets up a hostile mindset (plants the seeds of hostility) in people that normally would respect and treat respectfully the people of the opposite sex. I have to wonder if these comments are designed to drag the general readership down to the level of these individuals.

I have to wonder how many people here really ARE card carrying members of "The He Man's Woman Haters Club" or the "She Woman's Man Haters Club". ( there, I just dated myself big time). I see an underlying resentment of the fact that many of the men NEED the women and many of the women NEED the men. And need each other for very basic reasons, sex and necessities ( food, clothing, shelter), and that this need is also a fear that they might not be able to get these basics. Quite easy to resent something that you know has such power over you. If you HONESTLY hate/resent the opposite sex and the fact that you need to "use" them, then find some other way of dealing with your needs.

Now I will not question that certain individuals are, indeed, jerks or bitches, and that it MAY be an honest comment to use the terms when relating to a SPECIFIC person. But it dehumanizes ALL of us to use the blanket negative terms when referring to ALL providers and hobbyists on the board.

One step towards a friendlier, more welcoming board is to stop using the negative terms when referring to others, both in the open board and when inthe restricted areas. If you stop referring to them negatively, perhaps you will stop thinking of them in the negative.

Treating and THINKING of each other with respect will bring the board up instead of dragging it down. We have a pretty darn good thing hereso please work to keep it that way.

The heated words from a few weeks ago were from both sides. Providers "brought it out" in the men, and the men "brought it out" in the providers. Some people revealed themselves for who they really were.

I think what was said needed to be said in many cases. Down41 took everyone down a peg and we ALL needed that. It seems there are a few who can't let go of some of the words said. Does no one remember "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me"?

You are right we are a bunch of misfits and a lot of us don't play fair. I strive to. I really don't want to make waves, but a couple of my friends here withstood some very direct and personal attacks, and well that makes sacker "a sad panda".

And although we policed ourselves, we have seen 2 new moderators added to Austin and the rules get tightened. Now, I have nothing agains Old Sarge and TC2. I am glad to have them and I hope that they were added because of the growth of this site because of popularity, and not because Austin is seen as the "Wild Wild West" in need of taming.

In fact Austin is NOT the Wild Wild West and by the way, us gents are warming up to the prospect of visiting ladies. We welcome Dallas providers with open arms (and wallets) as well as Houston, San Antonio, and gals from the far reaches of the galaxy. (Like Capt Kirk and blue women...) So Kara, come visit and bring some other ladies with you! I noticed December Love is coming next week, and I can't wait to meet her!
