Frankly I don't really care about who gets the job or have an opinion. I would say the "ultimate cosmic power" would have a corrupting effect on any that took the job. Hell unless you did get free pussy what possible benefit would there be to take a mod post? Making the board a better place to share information? We're here to get and give tips for finding good hookers - mostly out of selfishness not any desire to give back. Yet a well run safe board makes that possible so the mods are necessary to maintain some order. Thankless job... but maybe they do get turned onto new flavors of the month before rates skyrocket and do get a sense of fulfilment perhaps helping out their fellow mongers?

We come here out of selfishness looking for good leads, and find a place its safe to brag about "conquests" and talk about things we can't share with others in our normal daily world. We end up forming a community based on shared interest and develop not only "online friendships" but "enemies" too. Clicks form, and without some kind of rules and standard enforcement thus place would certainly be far less useful.

Who ever takes the job (now or in the future) god help them. I hope Rooster has a coke and a smile (or a beer and a fuck) and recovers from this refreshed and with new perspective. Regardless of any run ins with mods in general I may (or may not have) had, it can certainly be a shitty task at times!

Maybe rooster is back after a temp ban.

I personally think the lifetime bans on members is bs, paulie, qy , jb etc.
They all should be back already, a month and then let them back.
The rules are broken then extend the ban next time and go to a third strike youre out.

Just my thoughts on that.

As for rooster, he shouldn't of gotten stripped of his duties, he went off which was wrong but big deal we can all take it,the guy was a good mod and good poster here let the guy have a 7 day ban and bring him back

Life is too short, and the mods take a lot of crap and guys stir it up on them so who the fuck would want the job anyway, not me.

I agree rooster was a good mod. Bad timing.

But in the background I have been asking all ready trained suckers errr mods from other areas. One seems willing to be added as mod to NY's 3 areas. If active unlike are last out of area mod. But more like LAP(are first one from another area), this could be good. It would be hard to turn down a mod volunteering for more work. Even if just temporary.

Multiple handles may or may not be tolerated. But multiple handles are a piece of cake. Masking your IP Address is very simple. There are programs you can download for free that will take care of that. I have a program on my phone that allows me to make phone calls from my cell but another number that I choose will come up on your caller ID.
As far as the MOD issue, ahhhhh only comment at this time is to say not the most important one to get rid of. JMHO
