DPST's believe in their narrative and ideology - it is a religion to them - and any disagreement is heresy - they would like to punish by burning at the stake.
One will not get any factual information from the Leftist media.
They have no shame or guilt at all for the flagrant lies they propagate - and when caught - they don't even bother to respond with a "So What!"
OneAmerica NewsNetwork is reasonable - but biased and occasionally non factual in tipping point on hot button issues like abortion. Same for hannity and fox.
Hard to get factual truth out of the media these days - esp the NYT and WaPo. and now, Bloomberg shifts Leftists as well.

I agree. The trick to this is understanding the bias built into the source you are looking at or hearing. nthey all have a bias. Every newspaper and every TV news. I know that Fox leans right and I know that CNN and MSNBC lean left. I think all three have told lies but mostly just exaggerate the narrative they are pushing but like some of you just can't stand the personalities on Fox, I can't stand the personalities of CNN but mostly MSNBC who I don't even see as sane people. I have a friend who swears that CNN and MSNBC does not lean left or that any media leans left but does think Fox leans right. How's that for being balanced.
It is why I try to stick to talking policies and law. I had a friend who kept sending me 10 e-mails a day about Trump's "personality" while I tried to stay on policy and the law. One day he got so angry he told me that if I couldn't admit that Trump was unfit for office, then I should stop talking to him. Now this is a guy I worked with and knew for close to 20 years. I told him, you leave me no choice because I don't take ultimatums from anybody about anything. He calmed down and now we no longer discuss politics which is a shame since it is my favorite subject. But if you watch nothing but MSNBC as he does, of course he is going to think that America will not survive Trump. It will. Will it survive a Bernie Sanders or Warren? The jury is out on that.

HF - cogent post - and the Sociaism of Warren or Bernie - and the up coming "Progressives" will bankrupt America for sure. Not that we are not doing that already.
Happy Thanksgiving, and let's hope our blessings are not destroyed by the socialist nut jobs.

I'm starting to move toward the camp that says an impeachment might really harm the Democrats.. Trump will not be convicted, so why hand McConnell and Company the power to "go last", take all that was said before, bring new witnesses that will debunk those previous, subpoena Hunter and others.. not to mention tie up the Dem Senators, keeping them out of the Primaries, etc..
what good comes for the Democrats? where is the public shift toward conviction going to emanate? true, more damning info could come forth, but outside of a secret Star witness, like a Bolton, what could possibly go right?
if I'm Pelosi, I would get Schumer and Schiff, and hold a news conference.. say the votes to convict will never come, let's stop it now, our point is made.. encourage more info to come out, and if it does, hope that helps in the Election. talk back when the Right invariably says "Nancy quit because it was a nothing burger".. yeah, yeah.. tired talking points, but the Public knows, and would agree that pushing for impeachment is futile.

It really varies from show to show.
Maddow and Hannity are nut jobs.
If one does not acknowledge that they are all biased then how does one acknowledge all our bias?
The person I can not watch for more than two seconds is Steve Douche on Fox n Friends. That guy is a weasel. Not sure his appeal. Meka on Morning Joe is another horrible personality.
Each channel has pretty good news guys.
Most of the opinion folks are just horrible though on all channels.

Makes good sense - CT -- Agreed.
Common sense in this matter is in short supply. I do not think the DPST's have he courage to back down. If it goes to a Senate trial - subpoenaed testimony may be very dmaaging to the DPST's.
Clinton's impeachment hurt him minimally - but cost the republicans bigly - is it an analogous situation - perhaps somewhat.
I think it is time trump gathered his party in the house - and quietly request them to vote for impeachment to brinig the matter to a Senate trial with open and fair rules - unlike what the DPST's clown show is running. Force a vote - some fo the DPST's radicals will vote for impeachment over Pelosi's opposition - and with the Republicans,
It will be Trump taking control of the Schiff-show and bringing the issues out in the open - and subpoena Schiff and Nadler to show their "evidence' they have been trumpeting for years - ala Joe McCarthy.
The "Bribery" accusation is just manufactured Schiff-show. Nothing other Presidents have not done. The Constitutional issue is the house DPST run committees think it is now their privilege to usurp the Executive branch responsibilities - and run Foreign policy, and othr executive branch responsibilities, under the "mandate of supervision".
It is a very dangerous step towards the ending of the representative democracy.

Maddow and Hannity are nut jobs.
Who do their jobs very well which is why they are considered top of the respected heap
If one does not acknowledge that they are all biased then how does one acknowledge all our bias?
But I do acknowledge the bias which is why I do make an effort to at least listen to the other side of the argument. I can't help but hear the other side on boards such as this.

Gotta agree with you on Mika and Joe, what train wreck those two are. Judge Jeanine is one of the Fox on air personalities that I will not watch. Truth is I don't watch anything live. Everything I watch is recorded on my DVR so that I can fast through any topic and any person I have no interest in hearing. This works especially well with Hannity. If I only had a dollar for every time Hannity described Hillary using "bleach bit" on her computer, I would be a very wealthy man. Tucker Carlson use to get on my nerves because he would choose to interview some of the dumbest people on the planet. He has gotten better but I will only watch certain people he interviews. Usually only takes a few minutes to get the information I'm interested in.
I do this with college football to. On Sat. I usually record about 8 games with mostly the top 10 teams. Fast forwarding through commercials and times between plays allows me to watch a 3 and 1/2 hour game in 30 to 40 minutes. I don't think anybody would enjoy watching TV with me.
Each channel has pretty good news guys.

What happened? Did you stop sniffing the impeachment glue? We were at this point over 2 months ago.

Can't stand Hannity. Won't let guests talk. He can't get to the point thru his bluster.

It's funny how many Democrats complain about us spending money on our military but want to impeach a President concerned about spending billions of dollars to protect the foreign country of Ukraine, a place most never heard of and couldn't find on a map much less tell you it's "geo-political", strategic importance or not to the US.
