Like I said before you even posted your links. 70+% of AAs with HIV are men who have sex with men. If you knew how to read a study, you'd know the link you posted says the same. If you could read the study like anyone with a brain, the HIV epidemic with AAs is mainly driven by men who have sex with men, then likely having sex with women.

Conspicuously absent from that link you posted, is heterosexual African American males. To reiterate what I was saying, if you're a heterosexual male it is extremely difficult to contract HIV from insiertive vaginal intercourse.

The study the other guy posted said that Men who have sex with Men is only 2%(or 6.5 million men) of the US population. That number seems way off. We definitely have more than 2% where I work, not that there's anything wrong with that. Shit there was more than that when I played football in high school. I think it shows 2% because some guys are in denial or on the down low, as some would say. No nice try gotcha comeback buddy. The links validate what both I and Roger Smith are saying. Nearly 3/4ths of HIV infections are related to homosexual activity among the aa men. Secondly the high mortality rates are directly linked to poverty and lack of access to healthcare and medical treatment. Advice to anyone, if std's are one of your primary concerns in life, stay the hell away from the hobby, participation increases your risk significantly, regardless of color.

They didn't separate that out in this study. Correctional facilities aren't as forth coming with that info as doctors, hospitals, and clinics. Not many wardens want to admit guys get raped or fuck each other on the regular. Denial is one of the reasons condoms aren't provided in a lot prisons.

I've heard people mention that a problem with HIV in the African-American community is guys who go to prison, have sex with guys, then have sex with women when they are released and pretend the gay sex in prison never happened. An issue that I never thought of, but read about are prison tattoos with unsanitzed needles. Prison tattoos are one of the reasons why women in jail have a far higher rates of HIV that those not in jail.
