I tell a lie. There has been a recent upload.

It's not a comfortable song.
Fucking Awesome Chuck. Old Grey Whistle Test Tom Petty, would be good but I can not get enough volume on this computer. I listened to every TP song 10,000 times in the late 70's and all of the eighties. THANKS

Going to listen to that CB song again.

Yes, the TP videos are very early, the sound is so raw, it shows him at his best. It's funny looking at the audience, it is a BBC studio, half of them thought they were going to be the audience for the filming of a sit com.

I also need to hook my PC up to my speakers (built about the same time, I have two pairs now, floor shaking transmission line systems).

The CB song is part of my life - I played it over and over after my first love. I still get shivers when I hear it. Maybe I will cross reference to the first love thread. It is so emotional, yet played with such precision. No misplaced sloppy romanticism.

Art turns around. I play it now, in different ways, for my gf, I sing the song to her from across the sea.

David Bromberg, Iffy? He's been a favorite for years! Whenever I mention him to anyone, the response is always the same, "Huh?"

Great to meet another fan!

spheric universe experience - mental torments

its a french progressive metal band that sings their songs in english. They are the heirs to dream theater, even though dream theater is reigning strong as the kings of prog metal.

I've been listening to this band for a while now, and they've got a new album coming out which I'm going to eagerly rip off the internet :P

Honestley I heard him on our local NPR affiliate KPFT tonight. When I hear something I like I always check it out. I have listened to the Main Street Moan 10 times tonight. I like this dude. He played with all the big timers...snick and snork can suck air..... then each other...

I have been a huge fan of his for 35 years. You need to look up his stuff. He does everything well. A couple of favorites are "Mrs. Delion's Lament" and "Somebody Else's Blues." But I can't think of anything he's done I haven't liked.
