I like being able to smash mouth. Just can’t win playoff games that way when we play the best. You can put them away, but we need to be able to score early.
I think Fields is going to improve and give us a hell of a lot more then Kenny or Trubisky….so hopefully that develops over time.

Game had no business bring that close. Very sloppy.

First loss, though.

Your post doesn’t make sense. “Bring”? Anyways, it’s the NFL. Nothing makes sense.

Defense was shit.
Fields is still a work in progress with limited weapons. Losing Patterson hurt along with sloppy or stupid mistakes. Not running out of bounds, Pickens careless TO, snap issue AGAIN, penalties….extremely sloppy game…but this one is on the D.

Classic trap betting game in the NFL. What a joke.

... And call the time-out so they don't hurry with the play
and screw it up... It's on Tomlin! ...

Yeah, Tomlin was out coached. The D was in a state of confusion. Old Joe Flacco picked them apart. Indy’s HC has Tomlins number.

Yeah, Tomlin really fucked up when he snapped the ball to Fields when he wasn't ready for it. Tomlin also screwed the pooch when he made Pickens carry the ball like a loaf of Town Talk and fumble. And God dammit, why did Tomlin throw the flag on Minkah Fitzpatrick for unnecessary roughness on a hit that decidedly wasn't rough or unnecessary?

In all seriousness, I was encouraged by just about everything in the 2nd half. That game could have easily gone south and stayed there. But it didn't. Steelers made just about every mistake a team can make and still had a chance to win at the end.

Justin Fields looking every bit like the QB of the future. I'm sold. Steelers will win the division.

I’ll just never be a Tomlin fan. Mostly due to his soft bullshit zones he runs with our high priced defense. Queen and Porter staring at each other after a short pass TD was just the latest one. Guy was wide open!!
Can all these middle linebackers for the Steelers suck or is it the scheme?

I did like Fields overall game but can we please stop the once a game snap issues! That’s high school crap. And Najee can take the first plane out of here after the season. He is nothing but average…at best.

And why can’t we stop Pickens from carrying the ball with one hand! He did it again AFTER the fumble. Frustrating.

A game like this makes me wonder if the games are rigged. Some weird shit happened. It looked like the D never played a game together. Porter dropped an easy INT. Pickens with a stupid fumble. Najee can’t find holes. Tomlin doesn’t call on Boz for a 56 yarder. Doesn’t call a timeout when they clearly needed it. Another fucked up snap. I dunno. Lots of people jumped on the Steelers - 1 1/2 early in the week.

I’m not a game fixer believer other than the possibilities with refs.

Off topic a little but the over officiating in the NFL has gotten ridiculous! First time in my life I’m preferring good college over NFL because of it.
