Self-control ("Moderation) is a two-way street, which is usually based on "class" or the lack thereof as the case may be. It is unfortunate when topics worthy of a civil discussion tumble into a name-calling contest, which is occasionally motivated by a desire to intimidate or otherwise suppress those with opposing viewpoints.
Wading through reams of name-calling and he-said-she-said seems nonproductive. "We" all get caught up in the same cycle at times, in an effort to avoid the often invoked "rule of the sand pile" ..." if you don't deny you must be one!"
I may want to read what you have to write, but dressing it up with belittling and disgusting name calling reduces the value of your thought processes and often shuts down the mental processes of the recipient.
WTF, you do have that tendency to adorn your posts with barbs regarding your "opinion" that someone can't read, can't comprehend, and/or are some sort of "wipe" or "puke" tacked on to some "root" word as a slur.
Does it enhance your presentation? No.
Does it enhance your image? No, except may be in your own mind.
Does it facilitate the disbursement of information? Never.

Various posters have said some inciteful and dangerous things about me in an attempt to "label me" .. discredit me ... engage in some "cock blocking" ... who knows why ... even threatened with being outted ... when I post comments with which those posters disagree ... it has also been suggested recently on here that I might have some forbidden "interests" ... when a Mod says it is "handled" I assume (perhaps incorrectly at times) that it has been in a way that it will not be repeated.
Based on instructions I will just hit the RTM button from now on and be done with it, while recognizing at the same time that perhaps the mods are not universally consistent with their interpretation of various alleged infractions and/or whether or not "punishment" ought to be assessed and how much "punishment" it deserves.
