Reports out of spring training is Cruz shows no signs that his gruesome injury is lingering. He’s added muscle and looks great. The buzz is Paul Skenes. 6’6”, 250lbs and throws 100 mph effortlessly. They say he’s something to see. Hopefully they get one more reliable starter this spring.

That’s 3 players in the last 3yrs they locked up. They think they’re getting close to contention and spending some money. Hopefully, they get another proven stater via trade or FA.

Well, the first spring training game is in the books. They lost 5/3. But that’s irrelevant. The news is that Henry Davis started at catcher and played a good game defensively. He also went 2/3. If Davis can be an average catcher defensively, he fills a big hole in the lineup. He can rake it offensively. Have you seen him? He looks bigger than any Steelers ILB. He’s a beast. None of their top tier players played. Tremar Johnson did play in the later innings.

Termarr Johnson had 2 dingers today. He’s only 19 and one of the best prospects in the minor leagues.

She’s more famous than Skenes. She was a gymnast at LSU. And Hank Davis hit another HR yesterday and looks like he can actually play catcher!
