Ooops you guys are right. Richard Matheson was one of the guys behind most of the Twilight Zones--and I think he did one of the original episodes of Star Trek.

McKamomn was the horror writer. Swan Song was good, but I liked They Thirst even better. Sorry for screwing that up.
