If you were you'd be bound by the same guidelines I and the other mods must adhere to when it comes to removal or closing of threads and posts. If it doesn't break a nuclear rule, it stays. The only way vitriolic bile threads such as this go away is for the bottom feeders of the site to stop adding to the shit & slime that feeds their fellow trolls and trollettes. the best course of action is to keep giving infraction points until someone hits 25 then they are banned for 90 days or we ad you to the Supreme Directive. Mods on Eccie do not shut down or lock threads like this, if they did so, then the number of threads opened and posted to would be the equivalent in numbers of the those posted on OH2 and that would definitely not be fun, right? what kind of boring members want an adult board with very little drama that the main directive and focus would be only on hobby info exchange and sharing?

I think we need to take a look back and see who it was that started this thread. Here is a clue: It was NOT the only one who has posted on it to get banned (Texas Jess). He probably made up the threatening PMs and all to get a reaction from the one he accuses and it worked like a charm. Just imagine if others would think before they posted and when an accusatory post or thread is made, people would ask for validation/proof first.

Even tho it is not against the rules, those that open threads like this or hijack a thread by singling out a poster on it (that is against the rules, but it is not enforced), trying to make it about a particular member are the major problems of this site. You see, those characters do this type of stuff and then when their targets take the bait of their agenda posts and react, then that triggers GL violations which subsequently either get the attention of the mods or the reactionary post triggers those that baited it to RTM it and points follow. Obviously, Texas Jess fell victim to this consequence.

It’s not a “major problem of this site” that folks can’t control their impulses and respond to every slight thrown their way. If it were, Eccie wouldn’t get nearly the traffic it enjoys, particularly since there is at least one solid alternative out there.

The “major problem” would go away if people would learn to unsubscribe from threads or put the folks on ignore rather than let them get in their heads. It’s really not that hard.

So what type of person is it that throws this slight to/against others and what is the purpose for doing so on an ADULT board that is suppose to be about hobby info share? entertainment? troll agenda?

Because that nonsense is not nipped in the bud right away, it seems all Eccie wants is clicks to make money and could care less about the safety of its members.

I do agree that if the ones that take offense to what others say had more impulse control and would just ignore the drama shit stirring problematic children on this site, those offenders still would not go away as they cannot help themselves, but would definitely be outcasted to probably play oneupmanship games with each other.
