You can read it but I heard it. What happened was the admin wanted to make sure that the congressman did not spin the story to the right any more than they were going to spin it to the left!

But anybody that reads what the purpose of having the admin's rep there too, would have to agree that that was a prudent thing to do. Let me ask you this: Would the police let some Defense Lawyer dig through their evidence without somebody on hand to check wtf they were doing.

CBJ7, is correct in asserting that Hicks was never literally told not to talk with Rep Chaffetz (R), per his recent testimony. Hicks was told by HildaBeast's State Department not to be alone -- w/o their assigned counsel -- with Chaffetz during an interview. The Dimocrats, e.g.., Cummings and the rest, can equivocate on the literal instructions, but the intent behind such instructions are clear.
