Well, I was trying to keep it simple without going through all that! And, unlike comparing donuts to providers because of the holes, like some of you are anal about implying, it is an analogy about having the exact same item for two different prices, nothing more should be read into that!

But to put it in hobby terms, it is up to the provider to prove why she should be paid more for the exact same service, and it all has the same ending, it is the journey during that time from when communication starts to that ending that is the ultimate determining quality that decides how much she should have her donation at per the hobbyist. I hope that makes sense!

Providers will charge what they maybe feel is fair to guys for her services and to their monetary needs at the time. If they are on the high end of the donation spectrum, say $350/hr, then it eliminates many hobbyists that cannot or refuse to pay that high of a donation, but there are the ones that do not mind paying that rate for her.

Sure, she does not have to work as hard (seeing fewer guys for the same money in a month's time that a $200/hr provider) but the question is, does she see enough to cover those expenses or not. If so, great, if not, then she needs to rethink her business model, run specials through ads/lower her rate permanently and/or find another way to make a living/extra money.

This...is the point of the entire process, yet many cannot validate it, nor comprehend the message that others try to parlay to them.

One says to raise her rates SIMPLY BECAUSE the phone rings too much at a particular rate, NOT to provide better service. This is a crucial crossing point of the whole game. I'm raising my rates to KEEP THE PHONE FROM RINGING SO MUCH, not to provide better service.

Won't have 'to work as hard' is two-fold in this situation. 'Not work as hard' could mean fewer appts, BUT could also mean half-assing through the sessions that one is 'working' in. Let's just get to the meat of it, here. For an hour's work, many want to 'work' 15-20 minutes...while collecting the whole hour's pay.
