I could never be a painter, but Van Gogh moves me beyond words. One time I was at the Kimball Museum in Fort Worth, and they had a substantial portion of the Chicago Impressionist Collection exhibited. It was an amazing day, seeing so many paintings that I had heard about as a child. Then I saw it, my very first Van Gogh painting, hanging three feet in front of me. It drew me in, and I just stood there in complete awe. I was so moved, I wept. I don't think there will ever be another artist like Van Gogh ever again. Thanks for the post!
