That reminds me of fried Mac&Cheese...And yes, once it's coated with batter and fried...almost everything can stay on a stick, including ice cream.

If it's up to me this is how I would make it:

1st, freeze pepsi in a ice cube tray
2nd, cover the ice cube with dough
3rd, battered and deep fried....

There should be some melted pepsi contained by the dough..but you actually still get a cold liquid pepsi in the center..much better than this "pepsi flavored fried dough"
