why should I post the name that is allegedly WU's first name? I have no way of proving it nor do I need to.. he needs to either prove its his first name or stop whining about it..

but do I know his first name ? I admit I saw the post... but i have no way of knowing if the name posted is his real name or not since we have never met, spoke on the phone, chatted in any form of IM, communicated in ASL, smoke signal, Morse code or gone through a 3rd person as an interpreter.

the only proving I have to do which I have done over and over is that a name was posted and WU claimed it it to be his..

By your logic, just posting first names in general would be "Outing" if that was the case then the mods will be busy going through posts looking for real names

you do have a point.... she claims the name she gave is yours.. she should be able to prove it...

But we know that is not going to happen so again.. just a first name posted and you say its yours... how hard would it have been to deny it ?

even if it was a lie, at that point she either ponies up or not....

WU made BIG deal over a first name with less than 9 letters in it.

I DARE anyone to take JUST a first name and find out where someone lives, what type of car they drive, where they work etc....

Holy shit! You're still arguing this? I'm not fan of Wakeup's but this is pure bullshit! It is NEVER okay to out someone's name, even if it is a common first name. Who are you to decide what personal information is okay or not okay to disclose publicly? We leave little trails when we're posting here and a first name may be the last piece of the puzzle to connect the dots for someone.

I main seriously, you're suggesting it's okay for providers to start posting their clients first names? What the fuck?
