The fact of the matter is, if they don’t get more aggressive on offense, they won’t compete for a SB. That’s just reality.
No, the last time they aired it out was under Todd Haley, who was run out of town by the insatiable morons of "Steeler Nation". The same idiots who would kill to have that offense back right now.

But anyway, point taken. They weren't "airing it out" during Ben's last two years, but they also went 11-0 during a stretch there. No need for the offense to do anything different when you're 11-0. I don't think they'd have gone 17-0 if they had just aired it out a little more lol.

Also, this is getting to why Kenny was never going to work out here. He posed absolutely no deep threat and opposing defenses could just stack 8 or 9 in the box all day long. Still can't believe that bum was a 1st round pick.

Actually, they got rid of BA because they thought Ben was taking too many hits taking more time to throw it downfield. They brought in Haley to help Ben get it out quicker. Fields passing chart looked identical to Pickets. Every pass outside the hashes, which seems to go against Smiths philosophy of using TE’s in the middle of the field. Smith gave a bullshit answer when asked about it. He said their safety was too good to challenge him. Bullshit. Tomlin told him to play it safe. We’ll see what happens Sunday.

Friendly reminder that Tomlin coaches the defense too.

Nah, Lebeau was the genius, not Tomlin. Tomlins D gets crushed in the playoffs.

Belichick made LeBeau look like a dummy a few times in the playoffs.

The Jaguars lit up Tomlins defense at home. 45pts in the playoffs. And Belichek owned Tomlin.

Belichick owned Cowher and LeBeau, too. As much as it doesn't fit your narrative, it's the truth.

Here you go Tommy. This is why your genius dominated Tomlin

Wasn't pretty but a win is a win. Didn't expect them to go 2-0. So there's that.

Yeah, a wins a win. Against a bad team with a hapless rookie QB. A one score game. New OC, new QB same result. 13pts. But the same HC. Connect the dots. Cincy put up 25pts on the SB champs on the road against a D as good as the Steelers. The Steelers aren’t serious about winning a SB.

Wow that was uglier than ugly but it’s becoming our way of winning. We have to figure out a better offense to go anywhere. Fields has shown promise, just hate this close to the vest scheme because it doesn’t work against today’s top teams! Also too many damn flags in the NFL in general and this game was ridiculous!
