I don't mind AA As long as theyre not a thug, and white men can be thugs too.
But I feel if an AA provider puts it it's because maybe she doesn't want to see someone she may know. But as far as the statement that "placing an ad is not a right it's a privilege" well seeing AA isn't a right either, just like if you were wanting to meet someone on an actual dating site, they have options not to be racist but to get what you like. If you didn't like big girls and u posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a date you would put your preference, like No Bbws. Etc. so it's not about being racist, 90% of the time it's bc most come from BP and they only know Thug Black Guys Not Respectable African American Men.

Wow! This thread has escalated Quickly from the OP's origenal intent... As an inquisitive person the deeper meaning of the statement is "why"...

Why as a man of color am I limited in who I may see when those who are not of my Racial background not. I am not the "Thug, Pimp, gangster..." or whatever word you'd like to use; to which you refer, so why am I excluded by a quirk of birth... A genetic toss of the dice.

It really comes down to the providers discretion, and preference.

I am a black man that does not usually see Black providers, It's my choice.
I also prefer to see woman that want to see me. I feel that it's a better experience for me when she is as into the session as I am.

I can not be angry with a provider if she does not want to see me because of her choice. The experience would be tainted if you were to take the choice away from her in any way.

For the guys:
There may have been violence toward her from a black man in the past, maybe she just doesn't like black men... What ever her reason it's hers, respect it.

For the ladies:
The hurt doesn't come from the preference (at least for me) it comes from being Shut down from the get go. "No explanation. No reason for you, You are just another one of them."

If I were an unkind person, or one that is uncaring or compassionate to others I would not be a successful provider, which I am. I do not like hurting people's feelings, no matter who they are. It is unfortunate and true that there is such an epidemic of bad behavior. Ignoring it is not going to fix the problem and neither is being politically correct about it. It makes me angry.
