i think prostitution should be legalized and some you know whatever but not all substances. trying not to get pointed lol, but that's my honest take..

i think this judge aileen cannon should recuse herself from the present case. her previous interventions on trump's behalf were a straight up embarassment. the aba gave her the lowest rating possible for a federal judge: unqualified.

looks like trump undercut his own defense. he's going to be the prosecution's star witness in his own felony trial..

For every action, there is a reaction. Everything you throw at Trump or his family can be thrown right back at brandon and his family.

if biden committed treason and/or sedition, he should also be prosecuted (after he leaves office, per Mueller). no one, not even a sitting president, is above the law. contrary to trump's belief, he was not the state, even when he was president.

He is, or was, the Executive Branch. Period.

I would love to see Trump elected again. But I am a realist. Far too many educated White Suburban Women can’t stand him. They would rather the likes of a Joe Biden ruin the Country than vote for Trump.

DeSantis/Scott. That is the ticket that the Democrats fear the most.

he was no more the executive branch than he was the state. he was the head of the executive branch, which is not the same thing. the executive branch also includes the "Deep State," which are all those 3 letter acronyms for agencies like the FBI, CIA, FDA, EPA, HHS, etc. Trump was the 1st president to basically go to war with his own agencies. weird stuff.

fun fact: when trump took power, the CIA was skeptical of him from day 1, whereas the FBI was 100% trumpland. he really screwed that one up..

i dunno about de Santis. he seems to be underperforming considering he was the front runner not long ago.

i'm surprised the GOP hasn't thrown Trump overboard yet. seems like an easy call. right now he's using his political donations to pay for his legal fees. i'm wondering if his donors are aware of that.

Can you PM me your source for information that President Trump is using his political donations to pay for his legal fees. I mean a legitimate source, not your CNN or MSNBC? Hey thanks....

The Constitution made the President Commander in Chief.

He can make any decision regarding his Constitutional Authority without any input from any one else. He has the final say so in all hiring, and firings, within the Executive Branch.

The only stop gap on a Presidents Power is the power of the Legislative Branch to impeach him, or the Supreme Court in their power to declare his dictates unconstitutional.

Of course, the Legislature can also pass laws limiting his dictates that are not specifically drawn out in the Constitution, but he can veto those. The Veto can only be over ridden with a 2/3 vote of the Legislature.

Lawsuits can be brought challenging the Presidents dictates, these will, sooner or later be resolved by the Third Branch, the Supreme Court.

It’s all part of the Balance of Power between the Executive, the Legislative, and Judicial Branches as laid out in the Constitution.

So, I disagree. The President IS the Executive Branch.

i agree with most of what you said. (the stuff that's in the Constitution.) but while he can fire political appointees at will, he cannot fire civil servants without due process. that's one of the things he wants to change, because he wants to be a king for life, not a mere president.
he also has a tendency not to just work the refs-like the fbi, doj, and inspector generals-which is utterly descipable in and of itself, but fire the ones who don't do his bidding. the last group is the "Deep State" he whines so much about. he's the whiniest president the U.S. has ever had.

jack smith is the pitbull prosecutor that trump needed.

https://www.salon.com/2023/07/14/bor...rumps-lawyers/

he's not going to stop at the classified document charge. he's coming for trump in the fake electors scheme, the 1/6 sedition charge, and the pressure campaigns on governors and secretaries of state in arizona, georgia, and michigan as well.

trumpkin judge Aileen Cannon embarassed herself early on in the case. i don't think she'll be ready for more egg on her face. she got slapped down by the 11th Circuit, which was almost all trump appointees, on her insane call for a Special Master to review documents for executive priviledge and atty/client. this round i see her taking her job a bit more seriously.

what will happen is co-conspirators are gonna start copping pleas and that's the beginning of the end for the Orange Clown. executive summary: trump's fucked, bigly..

it couldn't happen to a better guy.
