your words support what i said previously. NO need to discuss it further. You choose to not understand it, either because you lack the intellectual capacities or because you are just provocative. That said, your level of consciousness is not sex positive. And i am tired of beaking everything down to you like for a third grader. I am not your mummy.
But what can be expected of someone who posts right-wing pseudo science propaganda - and chooses to believe his own superiority complex?
Right to privacy is a patriarchal way of cencorship. Everything people don`t feel comfortable being discussed is "right to privacy" ..... gosh. how easy... no wonder you`re not evolved.
To make it blunt and simple for you: "THE PRIVATE IS POLITICAL" . now go and google. farewell. Any other verbal interaction between you and me will be in paid circumstances only, i find my time too precious to give it to you for free.

Putting myself in their shoes:
Me thinks they are incapable to admit a misunderstanding(to me)
Here is an example that RK should understand.
Him and Olivia were discussing Planned Parenthood.
Rudyard was trying to get Olivia to see the argument from the opponents perspective and Olivia was trying to get RK to see is from a philosophical standpoint.
So I know Rudyard is capable of applying the concept. I am just not sure if he can admit that he had trouble actually understanding the concept when it is used on him.
He had no trouble using it on Olivia but he seems to be incapable of having that same standard applied to him.
We all do this , I know. I just like to point it out more than others!

Leta gets it!
But there is a big difference between "pursuing" a relationship outside of the hobby... and accidentally finding yourself in one!! Once two lovers find themselves "beyond the hobby" and wishing to go further... only then , is it time to define "rules & terms".... especially if you both plan to continue to play the hobby! It can work!!

Oh hell WTF, I can apply it...and I can have it applied. If you will go back and read this entire thread...you will see that I answered the OP (you know, that's the person who started the thread with a query they had in mind)...with the thought that I could (in my mind) see a relationship work...just that, for me, not if they continued in the business.
It was you who introduced the memory of the old timer who took the escort home to meet his wife. I said I thought it was a shitty thing to do. You then tried to introduce some concept that, if I looked at it from his point of view I might see it as not so shitty. You then digressed into the fact that if I could put myself in the mindest of a psychopath, I might see that from the psychopath's viewpoint...it might not be so shitty.
It might not seem shitty to the psychopath...but that does not change the fact that it is still shitty. Murder might not seem shitty to the murderer...but it is. Rape might not seem shitty to the rapist...but it is.
I'm not sure I see the point in trying to put myself in the mind of a nutcase...with the sole exception of trying to locate the nutcase to extract him from society. But just becuase I don't see the point of putting myself in the mind of a nutcase, does not mean I don't know how to understand another POV.
I can see though, how you can come closer to putting yourself in the mindset of a nutcase. It's not as far of a jump.
(OK WTF, I am saying that in jest...kinda...)

@Nina
Click the little arrow (in the blue box) next to the name in bold like the one in the box by your name here, and it will take you right to their post.
(BTW, I think they're in a different thread.)

That is a philosophical discussion that we are in agreement on. But it is a philosophical discussion.

Again we are in agreement. And again it is a philosophical discussion.

It is exactly what you asked Olivia to do. What if she thinks people that oppose planned parenthood are nutcases. I sure do. But I am capable of putting myself in their mindset and at least understanding why they are so fuc'd in the head about this subject.

To recap.
You still do not get it RK.
You asked Olivia to put herself in the mindset of someone who thinks Planned Parenthood is evil.
A perfectly logical thing to ask.
When it is asked of you, you bulk at the thought. All you do is argue about the philosophical point of right or wrong. That was not the request. Just as that was not the request that you had asked Olivia.
I had asked you to consider the scientific question of why some think the way they do. Exactly what you had asked Olivia to do in a round about way.
You were basically saying to Olivia that these folks come from a different background and to consider that POV. She was hung up on discussing the philosophical right or wrong of the debate.
I am now trying to put myself in your mindset and try and figure out why you are so double dealing in this matter. ''Is it such a hard concept to grasp, yet once grasped then so simple.'' , is one thought. Maybe you just can not grasp it, yet. Or you can not grasp it from me. Or you can not grasp it from me in a public forum. But I know you are smart enough to grasp it.
I am not asking you to be a cannibal, approve cannibalism or any thing that goes against your philosophical bent , I'm asking you to see how they became cannibals, you know actually putting yourself in anothers shoes.

@Nina
I thought his response was pretty sad, but not enough to take pity on him.
But he did succeed in getting you to respond. Like I said in another thread, don't feed him, no matter what he posts. Like HFC, HFCJr will eventually go away if no one pays any attention to him.
