in case you hadn't noticed i'm conservative with some libertarian leanings. if a qualified judge who was liberal was nominated i wouldn't have a problem with that as long as the nominee does not attempt to legislate from the bench

I’m not a liberal. I like low individual taxes (actually I’d prefer a flat tax with a high personal exemption of like 30K) and stiff criminal penalties, I also believe handguns are fine. Things me and my conservafriends agree about.

I don’t believe abortion is murder, though I’d limit it beyond 3 months on demand but if life of the mother is at stake I’d tend towards preserving her life. I don’t believe assault weapons should be allowed on the streets but if they are then they need to be registered. Things me and my conservafriends disagree on.

As far as judges I believe ideology is irrelevant in choosing and that advise snd consent should only apply to “is the person qualified”. So a president can choose whom the like. And they should get their choices regardless of whom is in the senate.
