You misunderstand. There is no prohibition on posting to that thread. Quite the opposite! The vote was to keep it open til the last poster had posted.

This thread was never closed either although the poll is closed.

BTW - AltComedy, there is much merit in what you say but to implement something like that would take a directive from on high simply because it differs so much from standard practice. Yeah, I didn't think it would be implemented I did invision the threads be autoclose, so you wouldn't be the "bad guy"
