Provider, What does it mean....

Is it just me, or do others feel that some providers do not care if you come back to see them. Websters defines "provider" as –noun 1. a person or thing that provides. 2. a person who supports a family or another person.
I believe that if you are offering a service, no matter what that service is, you should have all of the elements needed to fulfill the service. For instance, you would not go to Burger King if they made you bring your own meat or buns.
I understand that in the "Hobby" world there are so many things available and so many different "things" people are into it may be hard to "have it your way". However, I think that a staple of the Hobby is condoms. I have, in the past found "providers" that "did not get to the store" even with 2 days notice for our appointment. Or, they did not have lube, again another staple.
I always confirm an appointment at least 12-24 hours in advance, then confirm an hour before. I think at this time, you should go to the store and get anything you need that is not in stock for the apointment. I do not like being asked to go to the store for you when I show up for the scheduled appointment.
And, if I ask if it is okay to bring adult beverages. Please inform me at that time of your drink of choice. I hate showing up with beer, because you said I could bring it, and then you ask me to go get you some wine. I was considerate enough to offer, please be considerate enough not to make me an errand boy.
I apologise for the rant, but I am in the "Hobby" to do the hobby, not to do your shopping.
I was just wondering how others felt about this. Please comment so I can know if it is just me.

No Joe, it's not you! It's today's generation......I call it the, "ME, ME, ME" club! It's all about what you can do for ME! Used to be that we actually cared about the other person, but it seems that it's not that way anymore! Now, I shouldn't say it's that way all the time because I have seen some of the younger generation with fantastic customer service skills, but that's few and far between! They must have had great parents!

Of course there are not many absolutes because there are usually some exceptions, but in general I completely agree. To avoid probable disappointment and hassle, give me a grown woman. Besides, they are more fun.

Yes, a staple of the hobby is condoms, and it is every providers job to provide them. I have purchased this staple, packed my bag and left my home for the in-call location of the day, and left the package of condoms sitting on my bed. It happens, what can I say. But on the other hand, if this is happening with the same provider, over and over again, than I might begin to think she doesnt want to have sex with you.

I am one of those providers that doesnt have lube. It may be a hobby staple in your world, but it is NOT in mine. I have NEVER needed lube, not once. My body is the perfect lube maker, and it makes it in more than ample supply, no lube needed.

Dude, if you asked me if it was okay to bring adult beverages, I would tell you yes, but I wouldn't take it any further than that. For me to actually suggest you bring something I would like to drink, when you hadn't even asked, would seem awfully presumptuous of me. Again, you didn't ask if I had a preference for any adult beverage, you only asked if it was okay if you could bring an adult beverage.

If you contact me for an appointment 2 or 3 days, or 2 or 3 weeks in advance, chances are, I am not even in the state of Texas. Chances are, the day of your appointment, I am just flying back into DFW.

And simplyjoe, just in case you dont "get me" or my warped sense of humor, I was only joking about the provider not wanting to have sex with you. I'm sure there are many wonderful ladies that want to have sex you, and I'm sure they will be happy to supply all the condoms and lube you want.

Milf....you can't make me mad. Have you seen me, most people don't want to touch me, let alone have sex. I am a Troll.
One problem was, I did ask about the beverages, and was told beer was ok for this provider as well. Then the provider changed their mind when I called to say I was there. Second, the incall is not an alternate location. Had never seen this provider before, but was not impressed with first impression. The service was ok after I got back from the store with wine and condoms. But will not return for another visit. I did re-read the post, and I did forget to say I asked her if she wanted something to drink as well. My apologies. As for the lube, she said she needed it. I understand most providers do not need it, but if you know you need it, keep it handy. I wrote this post while it was fresh in my mind(i.e. was pissed it happened), but thought I may be asking too much. I am sort of new to the hobby, so not sure if this happened alot.
Oh, ha ha ha, I was kidding about the Troll part. Most people just don't want to have sex with me. Kisses..love..and peanuts. I have a great sense of humor.
