You've misunderstood me a touch, DG21. It's about databases and mistrust thereof, not about how much the provider gets to see into my life.

I P411 was ever compromised in some form or fashion, I simply wouldn't want to be amongst the unlucky throng. Knowing what I do from a technical standpoint I can't place my trust in databases, especially ones that are web-exposed.

I don't want to bore you with technical details, but that doesn't mean the information couldn't be intercepted. If it's entered into a form on the website the potential for intercept exists. No website is infallible.

So you are more concerned that if their database gets exposed to LE that the police might use it to book fake appointments so they could catch hobbyists and providers? So then does that mean you would only see providers who don't have P411 accounts? I guess following that logic you wouldn't be able to really see any provider that advertised on the web at all really either. I would hope that if there was that kind of a breech that word would get around pretty fast in the alerts section. But of course you never really know what is going to happen in those kind of situations until it happens.

Maybe I'm over thinking this or just still misunderstanding your concern. Would you help explain it to me?
