Hi Chloe! I'm really glad that the higher rate is working out for you. Just ignore the negative talk. Try to distance yourself from the place you're hearing the negative comments (reading discussion threads; visiting with certain providers; letting men share locker room talk, or whatever the source is~ eliminate it).

I've seen ladies use various methods to decrease their volume when they start getting more requests than they care to handle:

**Raising rates (this is the one everyone mentions as a solution).

**Limiting their hours. Usually this means they become available only during the day so they can spend evenings with family and friends. Sometimes they do the opposite and get a day job so they only date in the evenings. Sometimes it means only working certain days.

**Not accepting new friends. This has real appeal. By only seeing people you've seen before you're pretty much guaranteed a pleasurable experience with very little chance of being arrested or hurt.

** Becoming ONLY incall or ONLY outcall. Totally outcalls eliminates your incall costs. Totally incall reduces drive times and eliminates getting lost and can feel safer.

**Raising the minimum time requirements. This is the path I took. I raised my 2-hour rate very slightly (by $50) and eliminated my 1-hour rate. Actually, I used a little bit of the daytime/nightime limiting by still offering a 1.5 hour date during the day to try to move some evening appointments to day.
