Jackie, I can't tell you everything will be Ok because I don't know... but then again neither does the doctor . What I can tell you is this ... many of us old guys live out our lives unaware we have prostate cancer ... it only comes to light after we pass on from other causes . A diagnosis is not a death sentence.

Not good news.

PSA was at 17, much higher than vist about a year ago. That coupled with the enlarged prostate leaves me with a agonizing decision.

The Doctor wants me to have a biopsy as soon as possible, and if any cancer shows, possibly starting treatment emmediatly as well.

So, what do I do. Risk a very invasive procedure that, if anything goes wrong, will leave me impotent, (or worse), or risk doing nothing and finding out later that I did indeed have cancer. Or perhaps wait 6 months and see if PSA and enlargement get better.

Big decision time.

I said what I was going to do. I called (Seductive) Sarah after my Doctors visit, and let her have her way with me. The view of the world is so much better with her sitting on my faceOf course, we also talked about my situation. She is a good listener, and my head in her lap is a great way to carry on a conversation. Great Girl.

I have the week end to think about it, and pray about it.
