i have a friend named rick. hes a dentist here in syracuse , and one of the kindest, mellowist, and most easy going men i have ever met. never even known to raise his voice.

loves his sons, treats his patients like they were family, and is there to help anyone who even appears to have need..

he also was the father of the infamous craigslist killer in boston.

i knew that boy from the time he was five. quiet, bright, clear eyed and to all appearances a good kid with a really bright future.

he commited suicide in prison today, im sure no longer able to live with the insanity and sorrow he had caused all he knew. i dont think he was insane, i think he had an insane period in his life that ended up taking other lives and then his own.

he chose escorts as targets because he believed they were a safe target, certainly never to fight back or go to the police....he was wrong i guess, one fought back and died


please, lets be careful out there. all of us. i got lucky, and only lost money and keepsakes. not everyone gets away so easy.

i think this is what this place is supposed to be for, keeping us all safe and alert to the reality that exists just beyond the fantasies we create

I'm thinking that the fiancee realizes now that she dodged a bullet, and I mean that mostly figuratively and slightly literally. Just goes to show that you really dont know people.

Exactly...Ted Bundy was the all american boy. Worked as a suicide crises center operator, was a governors aide, law student, and had several relationships to which he was engaged to Fiancees...Yet under their noses he raped and murdered over 3 dozen women. Probably one of the most loathsome humans (if he can even attain that classification) to ever walk the earth. Think of how terrified those women are and how they have to live knowing it really could have been them at any moment. Those are his victims as well even all these years after he's been put to death, they still live in the shadow of his nightmare.
