Paducah?

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I may be moving to Southwestern KY. This will obviously dramatically effect my hobbying. It was bad enough living in Ohio instead of Texas. If I end up down there I have no idea where my hobby home will be and what regional board I would be closest to.

Will you Cardinal fans look past me being a Red fan and give me some ideas as to where in the region I would be going to find ladies?

The area I would be living in is actually Kevil, Kentucky and it looks like it is across the river from Metropolis, IL. Just how out in the cold will I be?

Google Maps says you'll be about 3:20 drive time from St. Louis. There's a very active hobby community there, and two (count 'em, two!) active boards focusing on the hobby there. The only downside to belonging to them is that I belong to them too, so you'd be seeing even more of me. OTOH, I'll tell 'em you're a good guy, even if you are a Reds fan. No extra charge or bribe required. I've seen a couple ladies there, and have quite a few more on my radar. Can't go wrong focusing your attention there.

Memphis is about equally far away. The Memphis hobby scene isn't nearly as active as STL's, but we have a few good providers here (Babee, Bliss, Tammy4U, and Amber Silk, to name several well regarded ladies here) and a number who visit. Unfortunately, we don't have a local hobby board (the Memphis forums of USA Sex Guide are the closest thing, but it's really heavily oriented towards street action--as is much of the hobby here, alas--and they're not exactly the classiest crowd you can hang out with).

There are a few providers I've noticed in Southern Illinois, but alas, they seem to come and go (for example, I met a nice curvy (i.e., probably BBW) young thing in Marion, IL a couple years ago, but she seems to have either retired or gone UTR). A little research might uncover a few more, though. Ditto for SE Missouri.

I'm a bit surprised; I'd have thought Louisville (which had a decent representation on the old ASPD forums) was closer to you that it is; it'll be about 5:30 or so drive time from where you'll be.

So offhand, if you can afford a regular 3+ hour trip to get your nookie, I think you may want to concentrate on St. Louis, keep an eye on Memphis for variety (and I'll give you a head's up whenever Ginger Doll from Little Rock comes here (she does, occasionally)). Meanwhile you may want to join The Grain Belt News (similar to ECCIE but focusing on the Midwest) and do a little research on what might be available in Southern Illinois.

With a little effort, you won't die of complete loneliness. And I'm sure others besides me will be willing to lend a helping hand.

Thanks BCG. I always knew you were a classy guy. Thanks for going to the trouble to give this detailed report. It sounds weird, but it helped dial down the angst over this decision I was feeling.

I should know more by the end of June, so I will keep in touch. It isn't exactly as though you make queries about the local hobby scene during a job interview like you you were asking about restaurants and recreation.



Maybe this will be a good thing for me to chill out for a while and build my hobby bank account up and be selective in my travels. One of the other downsides is that I will be doing less business travel, which is my favorite time to play anyway.

Not too much trouble, and I like to be of service when I can. And when I was in the Navy doing my bit for King and Country I had to move around a bit; I can understand the angst.

Ah, wouldn't it be nice if one could? OTOH, I'd do that in a "real" job interview if it was clear early in the interview I didn't want the job and was looking for a way to mess with their minds.

I'm sure it'd make me memorable in the mind of the interviewer. Problem being, it's not exactly the way you want to stand out, especially in an occupation or profession which is close knit, and everyone knows everyone else.

I should be chilling out; it seems that ever since I ended my hobby hiatus last February (about an 8 month hiatus) I've been pulling the trigger at least once a month now--twice in February and in March--and I really need to save up for some necessary expenses I've been putting off. I've never gotten much travel in my job and now that the one trip I used to be able to count on--to Buffalo/Niagara, of all places--has been canceled for the past several years, it seems that ECCIE taunts me by deliberately featuring showcases and showing banner ads of the ladies here who are in that area.

I'm about 20 miles east of Paducah, and this area is the black hole of hobbying. There is one lady from Bowling Green that occasionally travels to Paducah, but I have not seen her yet. One or two in the Henderson Ky, Evensville area that look interesting & have good reviews. Nashville has some talent, check P411 & Escorts.com. Memphis used to be a good bet, especially if you enjoy the casino action at Tunica as well, but LE got pretty active a few years back & I quit going to Memphis. I think things have settled down, I just haven't been back. If you do end up in this area, PM me & will have a beer & exchange war stories.
