Utah as a hotspot?
Well I could be relocating to my choice of Salt Lake city or San Antonio in 2 yrs and was doing some advance research of what the towns has to offer. But to my surprise, we don't have Utah as a hotspot on eccie!! Isn't the Salt Lake a pretty big city? I'm currently in Alabama and surely it MUST be bigger than this. So right now my future destination is leaning toward SA unless Utah picks up its game.

Well, Salt Lake is Mormon country, so there may not be a huge demand for this profession. At least I wouldn't perceive there to be. I've been to Salt Lake City a couple of times in the downtown area and it's fairly small. Don't know about the surrounding areas but stats show that Salt Lake had a July 2008 population just under 182,000 people whereas San Antonio had a July 2008 population over 1,350,000. Salt Lake has had a 0% increase in population since 2000 and San Antonio has increased by 18%.
Assuming your location of "Gulf Coast" and Alabama is Mobile, based on 2008 stats Mobile had just over 191,000 people, So, if population is what you seek, it would seem that San Antonio would be the wiser choice because most of the major TX cities have a large number of escorts and very reasonable rates for most of the ladies. Smaller populations will probably have a smaller number of available escorts. Given the fact that you already live in an area larger than Salt Lake, I wouldn't consider moving there. Besides, you'd have to get used to cold weather and snow and you're already used to the heat, so....

I saw the population stats also but was curious about its accuracy since the Utah Jazz resides there and usually NBA teams are only available in bigger cities. But you do have some really good points Dave.
As far as hot spots go, any one know how we decide which hot spots are made available on here and will there be more added in the future? Seattle and Portland are other cities on my possible destination list but is lower in preference due to geographical location. Both are major cities but are not available as hotspots.

1. Why the fuck would you pick ECCIE hotspots as a factor in choosing where to live?
2. How are Portland and Seattle lower than SAT and SLC on any "geographical location" list? Unless [Reference to a forbidden topic removed. M], both are horrible.
Please read Rule 10 before you post again. M

1. When you go to a new city, do you not look up possible "things to do" before you go there? Eccie won't be the major factor, just a tool to see what the local attractions are. Like any good hobbyist, I am a member of numerous other reviews sites including DC, TER, E.com, etc. Although eccie is my Fav and most frequented review site, I know I won't be stranded in the desert if I relocate as I have other resources. The only result is less posts from me on eccie.
2. When I say lower in preference, It is due to higher geographical location = slightly colder climate as I prefer warmer weather.
So:
A. If you EVER used eccie hotspots,p411, DC, or any other review sites to research attractions for future travel plans/vacay spots, you have no room to speak.
B. Not sure why you gotta bring up religion/racism as it has nothing to do with this thread but its nice of you to show ur true colors. But sorry I am neither not that its of any relevance to you.
but main point is: stop jumping to conclusions, All I'm trying to do is learn how "hotspots" on eccie are chosen.

I was in Salt Lake for 2 days and then in Brigham Utah (BYU college town) in 2008. picked up their 'pitch weekly, dallas observer,ft worth weekly' equivelent magazines and found nothing local... but there was a HDH in Tahoe but she was from canada. Her rate was $1K/hr. I was happy to get on a Dallas bound airliner on friday and back to pussy civilization!!

LE is much more agressive in Utah about the hobby. Knew someone who was busted there 8 yrs ago and it took him forever to work it out. Great outdoor opportunities, be careful if you hobby there.

Freelancing is not the best thing to do in SLC.It's a cool place to go if you want to make some quick $ and get out, unless you are working for a service. That is where the money is though and I know how many people hate dealing with agencies.
Le is VERY strict there, that's probably why the services do so well. They require licenses and background checks.I know a girl that has had a service there for years and has made a ton of money. And I have a friend that lives in Vegas who is in the process of opening a service there.
I would go check it out and see what you think first.Although there are a lot of mormons there, they do spend good money. But I would do more research before I moved there.

My ECCIE Reviews
|
Here's the deal with Salt Lake. I have spoken to several providers who have done very well touring there. Unfortunately, the most popular advertising spot is bp. This is because the men there are VERY careful. They would never risk registering as a user on a site like this. The majority of them are Mormon men who are extremely sex deprived, and extremely scared of getting caught.
As for living there.....ick. I was raised Mormon, lived in Provo for a year, and visited my grandparents in Provo and Salt Lake most of the summers of my youth. It's a tough crowd if you are not Mormon. They will either shun you or hound the hell out of you to read the Book of Mormon.
But.....it is an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful state with some of the best outdoor opportunities you could find.
