To the mods:

My suggestion would be to remove all irc related commands from the chat applet...a little digging revealed that you could see the client's ip address by simply typing a command or two, it's one thing to have that information viewable to mods...but to the public not so much. Mods, if you're interested in what I have to say, please PM me.

The ECCIE chat is the best hobby board chat I have ever seen. The bells and whistles are awesome. I especially like that you can click on a name and go instantly to their profile/showcase.

I am not sure if the room default can be changed or not, but one little pesky thing is that it always sets new visitors with a MALE SYMBOL, regardless of their actual gender.

If it can't be changed, it is no big deal, but folks new to chat, may want to fix that as soon as they enter the room. I think you click the options button, then effects, and then look for the chat room icon setting.

Not a big issue, but it was funny the other night when we had several hot women in the room, but upon first entering and glancing at the roster, it looked like there was a sausage festival going on.

Is chat assable through IRC? I don't use computers to get on the board only my bb!
