Strip club in Austin?
Preferrably N.Austin...
I am thinking of working at one of the clubs in town...
I have never danced at a club before and to be honest I have stage fright in new places...
I am looking for a place that I can maybe start out as waitress then ease into the dance scene...
My stage fright goes away once I get comfortable so I say a week or two as waitress and I will be on the stage shortly after that...
I am new to the strip club scene so I am coming to you guys for advice...

Is there clubs it would be possible to start out as waitress and eventually dance?
What clubs are pretty popular in Austin (N.Austin)

I will still be hosting, just want somthing entertaining to do on weekend nights and maybe a few week nights since I do not host incall all the time...

Yes, you're describing Perfect 10. Get TABC certified (they'll ask for it before they even let you apply) then apply for a waitress slot, they hire often. You MIGHT have a better chance of being hired directly as a dancer, since those are more contractor-type positions whereas waitresses are paid.

Ricks is right across the interstate from P10. It's not as busy so you'll make less money, and is a bit more downscale. I had a lot of fun the past couple of times I went though.

Feel free to hit up me or any of the other habitues of Austin clubs (most of us have VIP cards) and we'll accompany you for a drink so you can get a feel for both places and we can get a feel for the dancers.

Why not just to a club, get a feel for its atmosphere, and talk to a manager and tell them what you are looking for?

That makes more sense than to ask hobbyists since none of us have danced at a SC

Thank you for the positive feedback... I came here because you guys being from Austin may know more about it... I am sure many of you visit the clubs along with some ladies work there... I was looking for info from both guys and gals... I can go there one night to get a feel and it may just be a bad night or really good night... Plus it doesn't hurt to use your resources and ask questions if you feel some may have the answer right... I will be calling the clubs above... Thank you all... Nikki I danced at P10 for a while and it is one of the nicer ones that i've been at. Management is pretty nice and easy to get along with also. And as beautiful as you are I doubt you will have any problems making pretty good money there.

Shit I get down and dance once in a while at the clubs, I even have my own stage name that is known threw out austin strip clubs.

Nikki, for north austin it's p-10 and ricks period. If you need to get rid of your stage fright just come spend some time with me in the booths. Once I'm done with you, you won't have any stage fright at all.

What are we up to, +4, +5 for Perfect 10? Throw my hat in the pile for P10.

Some time ago, P10 had Amateur Night on Wednesday nights. Basically you were only committed to two mini-songs (1-3 mins). Be advised, local professional dancers join the amateur competition, too. So don't be discouraged if you don't win. I don't know if it is still going on, but that would be a great way to test the waters. It would be easy to call and find out. Maybe other clubs still do something like it.

I think that private dance practice, plus a tour of the clubs and dinner, would make for an exciting date, by the way.
