Default Tapout XT, P90X...

I will be starting the Tapout XT dvd's starting this Wed. Has any one completed this workout program? Have you done P90X or any similar program? How did it work for you?

Tapout looks pretty good. i have p90x and insanity and would alternate daily. it was working great until i injured my shoulder rotator cuff. it was not related to the workouts but i had to stop and havent started again. i lost 15lbs....... it really kicks your ass. it takes you back to the days of football practice because the drills are very similar.

I did a program called the Provider90X rampage - I just kept seeing Providers in rapid succession until my abs noticeably hardened.

No seriously, good with that. Enhancing your health is an investment that pays lasting dividends. It's worth pushing through the pain.

I'm gonna start off by saying I'm not in any good shape at all, now that thats out of the way.

I did p90x for one day, I couldn't even fucking finish the entire first video, by the time I got to abripper x, I was like fuck this!!! Then I came to work the next day and my arms felt like rubber, I couldn't even lift them above my shoulders for jack shit for about a week and haven't done a full P90x since. But with the p90x videos, I do incorporate some of the workout routines/techniques when I do workout cause some of them are good, just keeping at the pace of the videos is impossible. You have to be already in decent shape to actually hang in p90x.

Now I just jog 30 minutes at least 5 days a week, and lift weights every other day. Staring your workout out can be a pain in the ass, but when you're in the middle of your workout, and especially after your done, you feel like a champ. And when your done lifting weights, all you gotta do is flex your arm and you feel like a B@W5

HOPEFULLY one day, all this weight lifting will pay off and I get rowdy ass juicer arms like Alex from Street Fighter 3

Yeah, never having acknowledged it in the past, one year I decided, "You know what? I wonder what it's like to be a "gym head" (one of those people that is in the gymn 3 to 4x a week) Why do some people live like this?

So for a year and a half I lived it. For the first 2 or 3 months it SERIOUSLY sucked and I always wanted to give up on this "stupid" idea. But once my body mutated and got a good "fitness foundation", it ROCKED! Your body gets in a cycle - of weakness from overload followed by regenerating and returning even stronger than before.

There is no cooler feeling than when your body finishes regenerating new/more cells. You feel like a friggin Super Hero!

The other really cool thing is that you OWN it. It takes waaaaay longer for muscle tissue to deteriorate/atropy than it does to build it. So even after I had to abandon the 3x a week routine and routine and return to normal. I still looked very defined for a looooong time. All I had to do was simple maintenance (MUCH less time consuming).

It is one of life's BEST investments of time.

I tried P90X and it kicked my ass. On my second day I got hurt and was unable to do anything for 6 weeks. That sucked.

13 year or so, while I was still an active duty jarhead, I was pretty ripped. Then I got out and civi life threw me for a loop. I stopped working out. Now I'm trying to get back into shape. I can still push a 3 mile run, but I feel as though I'm running with a full fucking pack (for those of you that have humped Alice, you know what I mean).

You just have to take it slow and try not to over do it. Otherwise you may injure yourself and stop working out.

I've heard that about P90X. I did insanity instead. Insanity is pretty good, the first month is less minutes, less intense than the second month. I like it. I did it one time and did not really keep up with it, so i started it agian and have kept up with it for the most part. I'm more toned and in better shape now. I do admit the weight loss has not been dramatic, but that is my fault since i have not kept up with a balance diet. I like the beachbody company, so i'll probably do another program after i finish this second round of insanity. I like working out at my home better than i like going to the gym.

I have done p90x, p90x2 Insanity and asylum vol1. It takes lots of discipline and good nutrition and if you want faster results you will need the supplements. I injuried my foot so I can't do Insanity asylum right now so I will do p90x2 until I feel strong enough to go back. My atf is insanity because of the adrenaline, but is not for everyone. If you can make it through it you can make it through anything. I love insanity because you don't need anything and if you travel you can do it in your hotel room.

I hate smartphones just one click and you click somewhere where you don't want. It wasn't meant to be private.
