God now has arguably the "classic" heavy metal voice of all time to add to his concert in the sky. I wonder if he will be jamming with Hendrix one day soon....

He had stomach cancer, announced it last year sometime. I think he had started his 6th round of chemotherapy and he was confident that he would get better. He recently had their summer tour cancelled.

The first album that Black Sabbath made with Ronnie "Heaven and Hell" is my favorite Black Sabbath album.

What a great strong voice he had, perfect for heavy metal.

He also did some great stuff with Richie Blackmore (after he left Deep Purple) in the band Rainbow. "The Man on the Silver Mountain" is a classic metal song.
