Default Hard to watch..

MSNBC is playing the actual news video footage of what occurred on 911. It is as if I have been transported back in time to that day and I finally had to turn it off and do something else.

It just brings back all those old feelings, they day when I was at work and my kids were in school and my associates and friends were panicking, dashing off to the school to get their kids, not knowing if America was under attack by some foreign power or what.

It turned out that my husbands very close friend was in one of the buildings that day, he was one of the ones who did not make it.

I have pictures of him from our wedding, and when he came to town and visited us.

It is just hard to understand how people can be so influenced by some religious cause to kill so many like that.

I am glad we got Osama Bin Ladin and have tracked down those associated with him, and those who were involved.

Did they show World Trade Center building 7 that collapsed at 5:20pm on 9/11?
Just curious because it was not in the 9/11 report and the T.V. never talks about it.

Just watch the NBC Today Show. They didn't bother with that pesky remembrance crap, they stuck with the important stuff. Instead opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants.

At 8:46 AM, in New York City and at the White House in Washington DC, there was a moment of silence to remember when the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In New York, the NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority Police and the families of the victims were present, while in Washington the President and the First Lady led the moment.

The cable networks all carried it, with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” carrying it as well. The only national general news program to not carry the moment of silence was NBC’s ‘Today,” which, in an odd bit of counter-programming, opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants.

After the moment of silence ended, ABC went right to an interview with actor Richad Gere, while CBS went straight into a commercial break.

Here in New York, NBC did show the moment of silence, as WNBC broke into “Today” to carry locally-produced special coverage.

I wass fortunate enough to vist the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania a little over a week agao.
It was very humbling.

After we walked the length of the Memorial and paid our respects and were leaving I discovered the memorial for the terroists that were on the plane.
There were four little Islam prayer rooms. When you walked inside, in the corner was a white altar with a seat and a hole in the middle.
I gazed inside and saw all of the tributse left before me. I unzipped my pants and added my own tribute to the terrorists. The open latrine was a fitting spot to pay my respects. I only wish that all the bacon I had for breakfast was ready to come out so I could have left an even better tribute.

If been to New York many times in my life and I know just how proud they are of their country and their city..

I can only imagine how a New Yorker must feel when he looks up at the hole in that beautiful skyline that he calls home..

It can only be matched by the hole in all of our hearts.

Islam has been at war with the non-Muslim world since 610 AD. According to the Hadith, the second most important holy book in Islam, the world is divided into two parts: the house of Islam and the house of war.
