I just have to vent something. Is this now normal? That a Provider would not have the decency let you know when they can’t make an agreed upon appointment. If I was unable to make the agreed upon meeting, I sure would text or call the provider and let her know. This is very upsetting to me. Wasted my time and I was not able to set anything else up.

No, it's not normal... But it is very common, unfortunately. In my opinion, it's still totally unacceptable. Not every provider has good TCB skills. It's pretty easy to spot the ones that do, though – they usually have a strong history of reliability.

Try to research the providers that you're considering spending your time with more carefully. A provider that would do this sort of thing to you more than likely has a history of doing the same thing to others, as well.
