Hi Brooke,
Regardless of screening, reviews, OK etc. I highly recommend never discussing rates.
I think one of the problems you may be having is that no where do you have rates posted. ECCIE NO LONGER Post Rates ( even though you fill that out on your showcase) so you need a Website, P411 or EROS link or something to put your rates and other details out there so they don't have to be discussed at all. One of the best reasons for a website is to get your info out so there is no need to discuss. Of course the best reason for a site to to attract THE RIGHT CLIENT.
I consult with ladies all the time on websites, screening, and the basics of this business and my number one suggestion is Never Never Never Discuss Money ( unless it is a client you have already seen ...and even then I recommend not just for the shear fact that business discussions spoil the fantasy....you might do so only if you have a regular that wants volume discounts, ATF status, or SD exclusivity...)
IF we all teach the hobbyist he has to read our info and follow our rules before contacting us it will be so so much more comfy for all concerned.
I also generally recommend you post something like the following on your showcase and website once you have posted your rates a rules somewhere they can read them.
Feel free to copy this if you wish or anyone else that wishes to:
When Speaking the first time:
Please be sure to have read over all my info BEFORE contacting me. Nothing will cause a conversation to end faster than you asking me about donation, services or any other important detail I have put out there for your reading convenience.
As for services please understand that if you need a guarantee of a specific service or services you are looking at the wrong provider.
I can assure anyone who pays attention to my etiquette and plays by the rules your time with me will be a wonderful one and one you'll remember for a longtime to come.
When Meeting the first time:
Gift/Donation handling directions: I do not like to discuss the gift/Donation. Please place the gift/donation in an envelope and place in clear view at the beginning of our date, preferably in an envelope labeled Gift. This way, we get the donation considerations out of the way without discussing it and we can instantly start getting to know each other much better and ..... let the fun and games begin!
My goal entering any date is for BOTH of us to experience as much enjoyment and pleasure as possible. If you adhere to the simple steps below, our chances of having an unforgettable experience are almost an absolute certainty.
1) The more comfortable and relaxed I am around you the more relaxed you'll be and the better the session. I like to establish a connection that goes far beyond the physical and reaches into the deep subconscious. To that end, I cherish a close connection with you, both mentally and physically.
2) Discussion of services: I do not talk about services. In other words, do not discuss services at the onset of our encounter. Doing so will make me most uncomfortable. We can however discuss likes and dislikes once we begin interacting with each other.
Remember Rule #1, the more comfortable and relaxed I am, the more fun we are both going to have.... and I really, really like having fun.
