Opinion is the key word. It is clearly stated this is opinion, not fact.

Hmmm . . . I don't think they were giving their opinion as to what happened. They were giving their opinion as to why it happened. When a person says "This happened" they are stating a fact, which can be proven right or wrong. When they go into why that happened, then it is an opinion, and management of the company doesn't want to make it the opinion of the company, so it disclaims the opinion, it doesn't invalidate it.

So either the President said that, or he didn't. I guess we'll find out. But it doesn't seem to be outside the realm of possibility that the President would say such a thing.

It remains to be seen.

They air or print it anyway, they don't have to agree with it. It's just a disclaimer so they can refer the angry calls to someone else.

You are really looking stupid on a story I posted because it was funny. Just because you have to spin it to make it look like Obama never said that. Your precious Obama would never say anything like that, would he?

Of course he said that. So what? I'd like to say that to a few senators myself. But this story was good, it brought out some "Obama is perfect, and doesn't even need bowel movements" people. You guys crack me up!
