I haven't worn a wedding ring for over fifteen years. Had a big argument with my wife back then, never wound up putting it back on. It doesn't seem to have affected my relations with the fairer sex though.

It doesnt matter if you wear it or not, we all know why we are here. I do notice it but it is none of my business. (:

When I wore a ring, I would leave it on, as it did not seem right taking it off.

However, like rdodger, we had a fight 9 months ago and I took mine off (said I lost it). I can get away with this a little easier than some as my best friend has never wore one (job).

It is ironic that some guys will take a ring off when married, while some gals will put one on when not married.
