Still sounds like parody, and I still don't care. As I said before, Democrat strategists have been discussing using "Bane" against Romney before Rush aired this. Make of it what you want.

It's just a movie. There is no indication that the writers had any thoughts of either Obama or Romney when they wrote it. It's just a fun movie. It is only serendipitous that the antagonist is named "Bane". It will be funny, get a few laughs, and eventually have no effect on the election.

Rush doesn't need me to defend him, even if I were so inclined.
