Doesn't it mean that there are just more hobbyist in Dallas....at least those that are on the board. Couldn't have that many more providers without more hobbyist.

I got my start in the Hobby in Dallas...so i have a bit of experience in both cities.

My take is that the hobby community is a bit tighter and more social in Dallas. Rules of the game are pretty important there...providers and hobbyist with bad reputations are exposed more quickly. Ultimately, it leads to higher satisfaction with the hobby scene...and providers recruiting and mentoring more ladies into the scene because of a better overall rapport. The ladies tend watch out for each other. Like all systems, it does break down on occasion, but it seems to fix itself quickly.

It was not unusual for one of my ATF providers to call and let me know that a new "friend" was starting in the hobby and would i care to visit with her...helping the new girl get a clientele.

I think that type of behavior leads to more providers...if only in that they have a better overall experience.
