Louisiana Attacks Illegal Cartel Selling Contraband - Caskets?

The State of Louisiana is taking their fight against crime to the source. They are trying to prohibit a band of renegade criminals, the monks at St. Joseph Abbey, from dealing in contraband materials, caskets. Seems that after Katrina, the Abbey was unable to make money, so they started building caskets without a license.

We must stop these degenerates and protect the law-abiding people of Louisiana from these desperate characters! Next thing you know, they will start building guitars, or worse: Selling milk!

I'm familiar with this case.

the caskets sold in Louisiana can cost over $4000 or more. the monks are selling them for less than that. this shows how much of a ripoff the funeral industry is and they are trying to protect their monopoly on casket sales.

effin LA state legislatures can't do one thing right by passing that bill which would have rendered this case moot.
