seeing Providers in Public

I have had one provider who ended up a close friend - a friendship that came to fruition about 2005. Then there was the girl we had enjoyed some 2-girl sessions with who was not in the friend circle thereof. As Jane Doe (as I shall name her) and I got close as good friends, and her 2-girl bud Jill Doe (the other one) went off to pursue her degree more energetically and stopped providing and hence we lost touch with Jill.

Fast forward to 2008 at the Galleria. Jane Doe is out with her fiance, me, my SO and we're Christmas Shopping. Somewhere around the Starbucks on the upper level, here pops over Jill Doe, who was placing the order, and myself and Jane were getting our drinks for our group. We did not see her, but Jill saunters over, addresses myself and Jane loudly with a "wow, you guys spending the day together? that's good income for you, (addresses her by provider name)."

The looks on our faces I think spoke volumes, and she realized that we had more drinks than for two, and she froze when she saw the ring on Jane Doe's hand. Luckily, the crowds muffled her voice enough and as a whole, our group was on the other side from where we pick the drinks up. We politely explained she needed to use her inside voice, and we went over to the little milk station and quiet-talked to her.

She seemed quite offended. Anyway, she apparently was rabidly jealous of the friendship, and got rather ugly with us for a while. I honestly thought she was going to blow the lid off of everything.

The providers are honest any decent good people.
I hae recently moved to the Houston area ,I lived elsewhere and worked here up to now.
Now where i live I'm likely to acciently see a provider I've been with several times and I might be with my SO.
How nervous should I be?
Providers and Hobbbiest please help me out here.

What you do is make a deal with every provider you see. Some will go for it some will not. You let them know that if you are ever in public and run into them, they can make some quick cash.

Get a signal / sign that works for you and your provider "friends". I'm not going to walk you through it but if the providers willing and you can sneak away from your SO, you can get a quickie in the bathroom or in the car outside. There's a dozen different scenarios that will work here. Be creative with it.
