Default Nat Nast Fans - Selling my Collection

Any interest in purchasing vintage styled Nat Nast original silk shirts, please PM me. I have a great collection of these shirts and would hate for them to go to waste. If anyone has a suggestion for a men's consignment type shop as well if would be appreciated.

These are all 3XB sizes and most are in excellent condition. I am fortunate to have lost so much weight I now easily fit into regular XL and even some wide shoulder cut L styles so these are just taking up wardrobe space.

Thanks for your interest.

Congrats on the weight loss. Anyone going from a 3XL to an XL has accomplished something truly remarkable!

Try Ebay.

I have a friend who had purchased some 57 waist pants brand new, but grew bigger before he could use them and he asked me to sell them. I did and they sold right away.

You'll reach a huge market with that site and if you don't have an account they are easy to set up.

Search the site for current shirts but if you have an account check for completed auctions.

Congrats on the weight loss. Way to go!

Thanks Laz.

I am likely going to go with ebay. Most completed auctions have them going for $40 or so and that is for the smaller, more common sizes. I was trying to avoid selling 24 shirts individually but that is some serious hobby money for me.

You can make better money selling individually. You can charge whatever you want for shipping, make a couple of bucks. Offer reduced shipping if more than one purchased.

Forgot to mention. There is a consignment store on the SW corner of Preston and I-635. I went in there before I used Ebay because I did not see a lot of men needing that size waist wanting to try and walk into that type of store.

From what I recall, that consignment store required the item be cleaned and ready to ear like new but not sure if they meant by a dry cleaning shop or what. That's another thing to consider with potential consignment stores not even taking into consideration the cut they take for having the store front.

My buddy did tell me that the convenience of being at a computer meant that once a person found an article of clothing they liked, and they knew how that size would fit on them, they'd be pretty loyal.

There are plenty of people who have set up Ebay Consignment stores and who you just take the items to, they do everything and give you back a cut at the end of the sales. Not sure of the cut either but if you prepare for the shipping properly and advertise them on Ebay properly, your return will be better.

A suggestion for those putting things on Ebay is to never under estimate the power of stupidity. Many people can't spell. When I was selling a lot on Ebay in the late 90's I would always include spellings that were off, letters transposed. dropped, things like that and I got so many more hits and sales that way.

Hell, when restoring and upgrading a BMW, I wanted a set of "ellipsoid" headlights. By spelling my search elipsoid I found a perfect set that had very few views and I snagged them for less than $70 when 99% of the time they were selling for 150 minimum!

Try Craigslist also. Start some on there and see if they sell. Of course, now that you've mentioned them on here, including the size, that might be a good idea.
